I wanted this surface to possess the depth of a forest canopy after rain. The striated plaster is enriched with coloredmwax glazes that settle into the texture, creating a rich interplay of shadow, light, and subtle tonal variation.

I approached this interior as a composition of texture and light. A custom-built fireplace anchors the room, while burnished plaster walls, sculpted plaster finishes, and lime-washed, distressed beams create a rich dialogue between architecture and surface. The result is a space that feels timeless, grounded, and deeply inviting.
